• AC Adapter To make sure your AC adapter is the right one and is working, plug the adapter into the device and plug the power cord into a wall outlet. Make sure the fit is correct and the device powers on. Please be sure that there is no broken insulation, exposed wiring (this includes any sections of the wiring that have been repaired with electrical tape) or other physical damage that would render the AC adapter unsafe for its intended usage.
• Working Battery Check to see that the battery is present, powers on, and fits correctly with the device being submitted. By checking this box, you represent that the battery is included, holds a charge, and is not cracked or damaged.
• Flawless Display Check for the presence of "Bad" or "Dead" pixels. Against a dark background, dead pixels will appear as white, red, blue and/or green elements. "Missing" pixels will appear against a light-colored background as a black dot. Check the display for any defects such as vertical and/or horizontal lines, scratches, chips, white spots, dimness or fading along the perimeter of the display.
• Working Optical Drive Working Optical Drives will recognize the type of media for which they are intended, CD (R/W) and/or DVD (R/W). Symptoms of a non-working optical drive may include not accepting or ejecting any discs. If the drive is noisy, vibrates, or scratches media we consider this 'not working'.
