One such functional feature of the G3 is its kill switch, which allows the phone&#8217;s owner to lock the device in the event of theft or loss.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/venturebeat.com\/2014\/08\/18\/lg-to-make-most-of-its-phones-interfaces-look-like-the-g3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">VentureBeat<\/a>, a recent LG press release indicates that the company will be employing some of the cutting-edge LG G3 UX features on its other phone models, particularly mid-range and lower cost devices.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 15px; background-color: initial;\">Upcoming Features and Applications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The LG G3 camera application will set the standard for most upcoming LG smartphones and tablets, including lower-priced devices. A majority of future LG phones will have a simplified camera app that only shows frequently used menus, reducing clutter on the phone screen.<\/p>\n<p>Another key feature of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gazelle.com\/sell\/cell-phone\/lg?utm_campaign=gazelle_horn&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=gazelle_horn&amp;utm_content=lg-g3-ux-features-and-apps-expand-to-other-mobile-phones\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LG G3<\/a> camera app coming to less expensive phones is the &#8220;Touch and Shoot&#8221; function. This allows users to take a picture by touching anywhere on the display screen\u2014a one-step process instead of the traditional two-step process of tapping on the screen once to focus and then again to snap a picture. The camera app also has a &#8220;Gesture Shot&#8221; function that uses touchless gestures to activate the self-timer, perfect for taking selfies.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/gadgets.ndtv.com\/mobiles\/news\/lg-to-bring-g3s-ux-features-to-its-entry-and-mid-level-devices-578075\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NDTV Gadgets<\/a>, LG is also bringing the G3 Smart Keyboard to its other mobile devices. This new keyboard function analyzes the user&#8217;s habits and intuitively determines which word the user likely intends to type. The company claims this keyboard will reduce spelling errors by up to 75 percent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reaching for a Fluid Android Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While no specific release dates were announced, a majority of LG&#8217;s upcoming tablets and phones will adopt a similar user experience as the G3. This will allow for fluidity and a more uniform user experience across different LG phones and devices.<\/p>\n<p>A major criticism of the Android operating system (OS) is that, unlike Apple&#8217;s unified style, there are multiple device manufacturers and models. There is often a learning curve when adapting to the features and functions of a new device, even within the same OS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Getting More for Less<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As competition heats up in the smartphone market, mobile device manufacturers are forced to offer advanced features while also remaining cost-conscious. &#8220;Standardising these features across our entry- and mid-tier mobile products is just a natural extension of our desire to make every LG device feel premium and unique,&#8221; said Dr. Jong-seok Park, LG Electronics CEO, <a style=\"font-size: 15px;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.techdigest.tv\/2014\/08\/entry-level-lg-phones-to-get-the-g3-treatment.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tech Digest<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s your favorite G3 UX feature?
