Nothing is more frustrating than waiting to own the latest and greatest, only to find out your shiny new tech has a small yet steadily annoying glitch. Recent reports show that the recently released iPhone 8 is experiencing a bug with its display. Instead of auto-dimming in the appropriate time frame, several users are claiming the screen simply won\u2019t turn off on its own<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Before the panic sets in, try these two options:<\/p>\n

iPhone 8 Force Restart<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Option 1:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Quickly push the \u201cVolume Up\u201d button and then the \u201cVolume Down\u201d button found on the side of your iPhone 8.<\/li>\n
  2. Hold the \u201cSleep\/Wake\u201d button on top of the iPhone 8 until the Apple logo appears on the screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Option 2:<\/p>\n

    Push and hold down on the \u201cVolume Down\u201d and \u201cSleep\/Wake\u201d buttons for 15 seconds. The Apple logo should appear and the restart will commence.<\/p>\n

    Power Off <\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Push and hold down on the \u201cSleep\/Wake\u201d button for ten seconds. The red slider should appear to power off your iPhone 8.<\/p>\n

    One of these two ways should work and you\u2019ll be able to get back to enjoying your iPhone 8. It should be noted that bugs are more common that thought of when new tech is released.
